Natalie Kurzuk is an experimental, mixed media artist who often incorporates found objects into her artwork. As a “process painter,” she has created a body of work filled with symbolism that reflects her personal life’s journey.

Natalie has learned to trust her intuition as she attaches photo transfers and collage to her supports (canvas or boards). Through the layering of, primarily acrylic paint, gels and acrylic medium, she uses the additive-subtractive method to achieve the results she desires. Working with mixed media also allows her to use her skills in drawing, painting, and printmaking.

An art educator for thirty years in high schools, Natalie continues to teach through workshops and individual tutoring.
